TEN TON SLUG, IRDORATH, INTERREGNUM,AZELS MOUNTAIN, SPHERE
Today's additions to our line up will be done on a stroll through our neighbouring countries with one digression to a country that is relatively far but is close to Slovaks in other ways.
TEN TON SLUG hail from Ireland but with a Slovak bass player Pavol Rosa. He is anything but idle on The Emerald Isle and this is one of his many projects. Gentlemen devote to sludge and groove metal honouring the traditions of the genre. Their music is built on strong and robust riffs and as their name suggests, they like musical heaviness.
IRDORATH will come from our southwestern neighbours as well and they will bring straightforward black with them. Instead of traditional approach they use more modern sound and they are not foreign to borrowing death metal heaviness or an occasional stronger melody.
A lesson in German language will be provided by INTERREGNUM from Graz, Austria. A bunch that practice an original combination of melodic death with pagan/Viking elements. Their songs do not miss on catchiness and melodies neither on extreme metal sharpness.
For the last two bands, we will need to travel to the north of our border. AZELS MOUNTAIN will bring true pagan-black whirlwind full of majesty and darkness from there. They have released one EP and two long playing records including this year's "Wieczny Sen".
And at last, the next Polish representative cannot provide anything else then their most prominent musical export article. SPHERE will offer relentless death metal with no soft melodies, just pumped up and occasionally technical metal of death from musicians connected to many other Polish groups.
TEN TON SLUG, IRDORATH, INTERREGNUM,AZELS MOUNTAIN a SPHERE to Gothoom 2020!
